-As a company that supports all kinds of travel and movement, we cherish flowers-

Hokkaido Hamanasu Ace Luggage Co., Ltd.

The ``hamanasu'' is a flower that is widely distributed in Hokkaido and is representative of Hokkaido. In 1978 (Showa 53), to commemorate Hokkaido's 110th anniversary, it was designated as the flower of Hokkaido by referendum.

It is also called "Japanese rose" and "B each rose" in English .

It blooms in subarctic regions with large temperature differences and is highly cold resistant , growing naturally in sandy areas along the coast. It is a short deciduous shrub and belongs to the Rosaceae family , and its branches are characterized by sharp thorns. It is a summer flower that can be seen in Hokkaido from early June to late August, producing bright pink and refreshing white flowers.

The flowers have a scent, and rose oil is extracted and is used as a raw material for perfumes. The fruit is made into herbal tea as rose hips, and the root is used as a dye, making it a fully connected plant.

Hermanus has the flower language of ``joy of travel'' and `` sad and beautiful.''

Hermanus was sent from Japan to regions such as Europe and North America as an ornamental plant. Because it blooms along the coast, it is resistant to tides, and it is also popular overseas because it can withstand snow-melting agents in cold regions. The idea of ``travel'' may have come to be associated with traveling across the ocean and adding color to foreign lands.

In addition, ``Sad and Beautiful'' expresses the feelings towards short-lived flowers, and feels like it sings about the harshness and gentleness of Hokkaido's rich nature.

It is a flower that truly represents Hokkaido.
